ABOUT SERA

Within this album SERA sets her stories and experiences in the contexts of opening a book of fairytales or travelling to mythical lands; Thoughts, people, struggles - they exist whether you're in the real world or the make believe.

Growing up between the ethereal Snowdonia Mountains and the Irish sea, where the surreal sits side by side with reality, you can understand why.

 A pianist and a songwriter first and foremost, SERA has for the last few years been writing, recording and performing in both English and Welsh, with a love of folk and Americana music.

The result is a collection of songs inspired by anxiety, love, nostalgia, ancestry, witch trials, ship figureheads and lost worlds.
